QUINN B NAILS

I started doing my own nails shortly after my daughter was born. As a single mother, I didn’t always have the extra money to pay someone to do them for me.

It started with a basic French tip and when I got bored, I’d ventured into other, more adventurous designs, which admittedly, were quite atrocious in the beginning!

But I kept at it and discovered I was becoming quite good!

I can’t explain the gratification I felt when someone would ask Where did you get your nails done? and I could say Oh, I actually do them myself.

As the years went by and time became scarce between work and motherhood, I finally gave in and began going to salons to get my nails done. Gel manicures had started to gain popularity and at the time I wasn’t equipped to do them myself, so a salon seemed like my only option.

Unfortunately, I found myself always dissatisfied with the quality of work. I changed nail salons and techs countless times searching for someone who would put the amount of time and care into my nails as I did. But no luck.

Finally, after one visit where my nails were absolutely destroyed (I’m talking extremely over filed to the point they were sensitive to the touch! Lumpy gel polish that wasn’t even covering the whole nail!) I had enough!

The next day I purchased the essentials for doing my own gel nails at home and FINALLY I could get the quality I had been craving. Shortly after that, I thought to myself, I’m sure other people are having similar experiences, I can’t be the only one. And that gave me my AHA! moment: Why couldn’t I do other people’s nails too! And just like that Quinn B Nails was born!

I would be so proud to be the last nail tech you ever need. I want to give you that something you’ve been missing in your regular salon visits — that extra care and time, that feeling that I’ve done your nails with the same effort I would do my own. I promise to always listen to your needs and give you a manicure to be proud of.
